Understanding Team Rankings
Scoring Method
Rankings simulate a hypothetical race using each runner's performance score to predict finish places, then score like a standard cross country meet.
Team Requirements
Teams must have at least 5 runners to receive a ranking. Scores are calculated using the top 5 finishers from each team.
Lower is Better
Like golf, lower scores are better. Teams with the most consistent top performers will have the lowest (best) scores.
